Flexible Door Bottom Seal – Self-Adhesive Draft & Dust Barrier
Seal the Gap. Keep Your Home More Comfortable.
Small gaps beneath doors can allow drafts, dust, outside air, noise and insects to enter your living space. The DIY Warm Home Door Bottom Seal creates a flexible barrier along the bottom edge of your door to help reduce unwanted airflow and cover the open gap beneath the door.
Designed with a rigid PVC attachment section and a flexible lower PVC flap, it installs directly onto a suitable clean, smooth door surface for a simple and practical home-sealing upgrade.

Everyday Protection at the Door
A small gap under your door can affect everyday comfort in more ways than one. This flexible door bottom seal helps create a barrier between indoor and outdoor spaces.
- Helps Reduce Drafts — Limits unwanted airflow through the gap beneath the door.
- Helps Block Dust — Helps keep everyday dust and debris from entering.
- Helps Reduce Noise — Covers the open gap where sound can travel.
- Helps Block Insects — Helps close off a common entry gap beneath the door.
- Year-Round Use — Useful during both heating and cooling seasons.

Two-Part PVC Design
The seal combines a rigid PVC upper section with a flexible PVC lower flap.
The rigid section provides a stable attachment area for installation on the door, while the flexible lower section lightly contacts the floor to help cover the gap without requiring drilling.

Comfort Through Every Season
Door gaps can allow unwanted air exchange throughout the year. In winter, the seal helps reduce cold drafts entering beneath the door. During warmer months, it can help limit cooled indoor air from escaping through the same gap.

Choose the Right Size for Your Door
Two height options are available to accommodate different door gaps:
36 mm / 1.42 in
Rigid PVC: 18 mm
Flexible PVC: 18 mm
Recommended for gaps: 0–18 mm / 0–0.71 in
50 mm / 1.97 in
Rigid PVC: 20 mm
Flexible PVC: 30 mm
Recommended for gaps: 0–30 mm / 0–1.18 in
Both options are:
1000 mm / 39.37 in long
and can be trimmed to fit your door width.

Made for Everyday Doors
Designed for common household door applications, including:
Front Doors · Bedroom Doors · Home Office Doors · Garage Entry Doors
The flexible lower flap can make contact with common smooth flooring surfaces such as wood, laminate, tile, vinyl and smooth stone.
Important: The adhesive attaches to the door surface, not the floor.

Simple DIY Installation
No drilling is required.
1. Clean & Dry
Clean the installation area and remove dust, oil and moisture.
2. Measure & Cut
Measure your door width and trim the 1000 mm seal if needed.
3. Peel
Remove the protective liner from the adhesive backing on the rigid PVC section.
4. Position & Press
Position the flexible lower flap so it lightly contacts the floor, then press the rigid adhesive section firmly onto the door.

Installation Tip: The flexible flap should lightly contact the floor while still allowing the door to open and close smoothly. Avoid installing the seal too high or pressing the flexible flap excessively against the floor.
